THE PETERSENS

We have guests in town starting today and we were treated to a nice meal at a Chinese buffet that we’ve never tried before.  I actually don’t even remember the name of it, but it has been our best Chinese buffet experience in Raleigh thus far.  One time, Ben and our friend Mat went to a buffet in North Raleigh and the pastry desserts were moldy.  Sick-o-rama!  We didn’t experience anything like that tonight.  Though the food was delish, it sure reminded me of some of my favorite places to eat out.  Unfortunately, these fave food places are everywhere BUT in North Carolina.  Don’t worry, North Carolina, I haven’t given up on you yet!  You still got time to impress my stomach.

Malaysian Peninsula (Pacific Rim)
JunBo (for their amazing dim sum!)
Georgio’s Greek Burrito (they have scrumptious spanakopita, tzatzikiki sauce & chicken souvlaki)
Noodles & Company
Einstein’s Bagels
Kikugawa (Ben and I ate there for 2 Valentine’s Days in a row)
Ichiban (thanks to the Nixes, our stomachs delighted in this to-die-for Japanese food)
