Another Week of Grocery Savings

For this week’s groceries, I hit up Super Target and Harris Teeter.  With coupons in hand and a Target giftcard, here is what I was able to get at Super Target…

I spent: $27.92
I saved: $22.96
I bought:

  • Travel-size bottle of Downy Wrinkle Release
  • 1 package Double Stuf Golden Oreos
  • 2 bottles Wishbone dressing (Italian and Ranch)
  • 1 box Fruity Cheerios
  • 1 container McCormick Chili Powder
  • 5 lb. bag Market Pantry sugar
  • 1 bag Gold Medal unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 3.5 lbs. bananas
  • 2.75 lbs. Bosc pears
  • 6-75 watt GE Reveal lightbulbs
  • 1 tube Crest kid’s toothpaste
  • 1 bottle L’Oreal Perfect Match liquid foundation

After my kids went to bed, I headed out to Harris Teeter to pick up a few more things.  Unfortunately, I went over my $40/week budget for food groceries, but only by $7.  I am hopeful that next week I will be able to make up for this deficit.  Here we go…
