I tend to have unrealistic expectations for dates, thinking they will/should be meaningful and romantic, and then feel like we've wasted time and money if that doesn't happen. I unwind and warm up WAY more easily at home, and meaningful conversations come about much more naturally in that setting. I'm weird. However, I suspect we'll get into dating again when we have kids, I'm home full-time, and need to get out of the house! Right now, we (well, mainly me) would prefer to stay home and relax together.
