Weekly Meal Plan 3/14/2010-3/20/2010

This next week is gonna be an exciting one.  One, Ben will start his new job in Burlington.  Two, our friends Pete and Jess will be visiting us from MN for a few days.  Three, Wednesday is St. Patrick’s Day and I LOVE Irish Soda Bread.  That’s it.  Here is what we will be eating this coming week…

Sunday
Breakfast: Oatmeal and Bananas
Lunch: Chicken Salad Sandwiches on Homemade Wheat Bread, Pita Chips and Dates
Dinner: Lentils and Rice with Garden Salad
Snack: Wheat Thins Crackers and Cheese Cubes

Monday
Breakfast: Cereal and Applesauce
Lunch: BBQ Chicken Wraps with Whole-Wheat Tortillas and Peas
Dinner: Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I with Egg Noodles and Veggie Medley
Snack: Dry Cereal/Granola Bars

Tuesday
Breakfast: Strawberry Scones and Yogurt
Lunch: Grilled Cheese on Homemade Wheat Bread and Tomato Soup
Dinner: Chicken-Broccoli Casserole with Brown Rice (freezer meal)
Snack: Bananas

Wednesday
Breakfast: Cereal and Fruit
Lunch: Homemade Cheese Pizza and Carrot Sticks
Dinner with Community Group: Irish Soda Bread
Snack: Graham Crackers

Thursday
Breakfas

Lunch: Baked Potatoes and Garden Salad
Dinner: Spaghetti with Angel-Hair Pasta, Italian-Cheese Bread and Steamed Broccoli
Snack: Yogurt

Friday
Breakfast: Baked Oatmeal and Fresh Fruit
Lunch: Deli Sandwiches on Homemade Wheat Bread and Crackers
Dinner: Roasted Whole Chicken, Asparagus, Sweet Potato Casserole and Brown Rice
Snack: Dry Cereal

Saturday
Breakfast: Breakfast Casserole and Broiled Grapefruit
Lunch: EATING OUT with the Mellings
Dinner: Double-Crust Bean Pie, Spanish Brown Rice and Brownies
Snack: Homemade Banana Bread
